0 - 1.0km: At the exit of the airport turn right, you will pass through a residential area before reaching a junction with traffic lights at the sea.
1 - 2.5km: Turn left at the sea and continue along this Rd. keeping the sea on your right, this area is known as Garitsa. You will pass the "Corfu Palace Hotel" on your left, the park a bit further and the town on your left, and the old Fortress to your right, before passing the Arch of the palace of St. Micheal and St. George.
2.5 - 6.5km: Continue along the same Rd. you will pass the old port on the right, the new fortress on the left, the commercial harbour (take care not to enter the slip Rd. to the port and continue the same Rd.) and then a long strip of discos and bars. The Rd. runs alongside the sea to your right.
6.5 - 12km: Shortly after the last of the discos you will come to a large T-junction with Traffic lights. Turn right following the signs to Paleokastritsa. NB: these lights flash amber/yellow (turn right), proceed with caution as traffic may still be coming from the left when they are red stop. Continue along the carriage way through several sets of traffic lights. Just after the "Park Hotel" on the left which has a full sized boat outside it. You will come to a traffic lights at the busy junction. Turn right here folliwing the signs to Dassia and Kassiopi.
12 - 24km: You are now on the main coastal Rd. to the Northeast side of the Island. You will pass the ressorts of Dasia and Ipsos, with its long strip of shops, supermarkets, pharmacies, cafes, bars, Discos and restaurants running along side the sea.
The Rd. narrows and starts its ascent/climb along the beautiful coastline. This is a spectacularly scenic Rd. and is narrow in places with several sharp bends, so please exercise caution.
You will pass the village of Barbatti (where there are lots of new buildings).Further along you will see the sign "Nissaki" (small sign on the right of the Rd.) Continue through the Rd. driving slowly as you are nearly there. You will see on the left two small offices and "Corfu Residence hotel" + a sign on the Left saying "Vinglatouri".
Turn left to climb up to our village. Go up the hill about 900m and around 9-10 sharp bends and Villa Kalithea is on the left hand side. The sign "villa Kalithea" is on the parking area wall. You have reached your destination.
If you miss the hill and reach Katerinas Supermarket, you have gone too far, make a U-turn return and climb to Vinglatouri. Good Luck, it is very easy.
